Our Geração Sylvamo Program is active since 2010 with the objective to promote education, incentivize vocational training and empower young Brazilians in situations of social vulnerability to become more active citizens in the environments they live and work, generating career opportunities, proposing more citizenship and contributing to the sustainable development of local communities and the society as a whole.
The project has been playing a crucial role in all Sylvamo plants in Brazil, reflecting the dedication of Instituto Chamex, to promote a culture of opportunity democratization, ongoing innovation and professional excellence, revealing and valuing young local talents from the cities where Sylvamo operates: With Mogi Guaçu-SP, Luiz Antônio-SP and Três Lagoas-MS among the municipalities part of this program.
In a partnership established in 2022 with SENAI, the National Service for Industrial Training, we provide a professional training and initiation course in the industrial area. In addition, the students have classes ministered by Sylvamo professionals, mentoring with executives, immersive career processes with market professionals and performance and skills monitoring. And after the training, we have an indicator: In 2023, over 50 young people joined the program to build a new generation of talents together!
