We have held the Writing Contest for 48 years, and with each new edition we were able to encourage the love for reading and writing, creating opportunities for reflection, and enabling countless high school students to write their own story.
O Concurso de Redação do Instituto Chamex incentiva os estudantes do ensino médio das escolas públicas a desenvolverem o gosto pela escrita, pela nossa Língua Portuguesa e pela oportunidade de escreverem suas próprias histórias no formato da redação dissertativa do ENEM.
Since its creation in 1975, the project is conducted in partnership with school boards, and over the years it has been expanded to include ever more cities. The project received national amplitude in 2020, thus enabling more young people to develop as active citizens.

This year’s theme was “Why discuss and how to deal with the mental health challenges of Brazilian students, their impacts and stigmas?”.
Awards:
In addition to the prizes distributed to students with the best grades at national and state level, the 100 best ranked students are awarded a plan of video classes and text corrections on the Redação Online platform, lasting 12 months from the award date.
Schools with the highest number of applicants and students with corrected essays are also rewarded with online training for correcting essays, vouchers for purchasing literature books and boxes of Chamex Paper.
